KEVIN A. WILLIAMS - BIO
Kevin Williams founded The Wrap 4 A Smile Foundation, Inc. in February 2005, at the age of 15, with the hope of fighting poverty and stopping hunger, one step at a time. He is currently a junior at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy. Kevin’s past experiences of growing up in Jakarta, Indonesia and financial hardships at an early age has inspired him to help others in need.
Kevin is a 2010 National Sodexo STOP Hunger Scholarship recipient, and was named a 2008 and 2009 Sodexo STOP Hunger Regional Honoree. He has also been awarded the Congressional Award Gold Medal, Presidential Volunteer Service Gold Award, Comcast Leaders and Achievers Award, and was a Nestlé’s Very Best in Youth Finalist for Academic Achievement & Service to the Community. Kevin is also the Founder of People to People International’s Go International for Tomorrow Student Chapter in Secaucus, NJ.
In order to “Fight Poverty and Stop Hunger”, Kevin believes that all people, especially the younger generation, can help The Wrap 4 A Smile Foundation, Inc. achieve its goal to “Educate. Act. Make a Difference.”
